Problem & Solution
ARTEMiS SSN: wrong connection of NIB The Nodal Interface Block (NIB) does not seem properly connected.

ARTEMiS SSN: wrong connection of NIB The Nodal Interface Block (NIB)  does not seem properly connected.

Problem

When running an artemins model that uses NIB blocks user could receive the following complete error message:

ARTEMiS SSN: wrong connection of NIB. The Nodal Interface Block (NIB) connected to the block named: ssn-offending-block does not seem properly connected. The latter block was resolved as being connected to only 1 group which is not possible (a node connects at least 2 SSN groups). NIB blocks are the nodes of the SSN nodal method and are the interface points between groups A possible cause for this error is that some SSN User Custom block is not interfaced with X-type NIB. Please verify that all SSN user coded models, FD-line and Wideband lines are connected to X-type NIB ports

Where   ssn-offending-block is the path and  name of the NIB block generating the error.

Solution

This error will be generated when any of the ports of 2 different NIB blocks are directly connected, like shown in the below image, where NIB1 and NIB2 are directly connected in one of their ports:

As an advice user can right click on the signal of interest and select "Highlight connection" to follow a signal and see its connection path.

So a simple solution is adding a small resistor (any value 1e-3 ohm and below should be OK ) in series with the path so both NIB1 and NIB2 are NOT directly connected anymore, as shown in the below image. This will remore the error:
