The key distinction is that the switch type breaker, upon receiving a command (CMD to open or reclose, will immediately comply and the state of the . Thus, both the CMD and STATE parameters of a breaker will align in timing in the switch type model. Of course, with a real physical breaker, there is slight delay between the reception of a command to open/reclose and the actual mechanical action of opening and closing. This is where the breaker type model plays a part, with this mode of operation there is a delay between the reception of the CMD and the change of the STATE. |
