How to set zero-sequence impedance to Network Sources on Hypersim

This article will show you how to set zero-sequence impedance to Network Sources on Hypersim. If you have values for network sources with zero-sequence impedance to implement in Hypersim, or you need to equivalently transfer a model from PSCAD model with zero-sequence sources to Hypersim, you could use the following choices:

1. Use the R-L coupled block from library to implement RL zero-sequence values

a. Put a Networ Source with zeros given for its RLC parameters;

b. Put a R-L coupled block from in series with source block. The R-L coupled block can take sequence RL parameters of zero and direct sequences. These two blocks in series can be treat as the source with zero-sequence impedance.

2. Use the PI section block from library to implement RLC zero-sequence values

a. Put a Network Source with zeros given for its RLC parameters;

b. Put a PI section block from in series with source block. The PI line can take sequence RLC parameters of zero and positive sequences. These two blocks in series can be treat as the source with zero-sequence impedance.
