Panel: The Role of Real-Time Simulation in Education
Automotive, Aerospace, Power Electronics and Power Systems industries depend on Real-Time Simulation to design and test increasingly complex systems such as microgrids, electric vehicles and ADAS and even electric aircrafts. However, the majority of engineering students graduate without any knowledge or basic experience of these design and test methodologies. Beyond industry and research, a Real-time Simulation setup can also be used as a tool in the form of digital hands-on lab testbench to allow students to experience and understand some of the most challenging Power Systems and Power Electronics concepts in a safe and realistic manner, opening the door for more project-based and experiential learning.
Join us at RT20 at “The Role of Real-time Simulation in Education” as we explore with a panel of educators and industry experts (1) how to leverage RT simulation in teaching, and (2) how to teach RT simulation, RCP and HIL concepts.
