[MONTREAL, March 24th, 2021] Jean Bélanger, President/CTO, and Lise Laforce, Executive Vice President of OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES, are both pleased to announce the nominations of Yanique Martin and Maria Anzini to the positions of VP Technologies/Operations and VP Employee Experience, respectively.
As VP of Technology and Operations, Yanique brings with him an abundance of both diverse and local experience in heading R&D organizations. For the last 20 years, Yanique has worked with multiple industry and technology leaders, in fast-paced and innovation-driven markets. With the help of his team of senior leaders, Yanique will continue to spearhead OPAL-RT’s R&D strategy and will also lead the Production/Integration functions. His technological acumen will aid in seeking efficiencies for investment in innovation and delivering business value. Yanique has presided over the delivery of customer projects OPAL-RT for 4 years, which has historically translated to major product releases every 4 to 6 months.
As VP of Employee Experience (HR & IT), Maria will spearhead both OPAL-RT’s HR & IT strategies, working across the business to understand the needs in alignment with the company’s priorities. Maria brings over 30 years of experience managing global Customer Services, Professional Services and Human Resources teams, acquisitions, talent development programs, and implementing enterprise-wide change management strategies. Before joining OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES, Maria fulfilled various roles at Fresche Solutions, a Montreal-based leading provider of digital transformation enablement and application modernization solutions for companies that rely on IBM i (AS/400) applications.
“Yanique enters a new position during an exciting time of growth for OPAL-RT,” said Jean Belanger, CEO/CTO and Co-founder. “He’ll spearhead the introduction of market- and expertise-focused business units in our Integration unit that will deliver service and zero in on solutions built for Aerospace, Automotive and Customizations. By aligning our company-wide resources and supporting Business Unit Managers, we believe that greater market share and savings can be gained.”
“As OPAL-RT continues to grow, Talent and Culture become more strategic to our success,” said Lise Laforce Executive VP and Co-founder. “Since joining OPAL-RT, Maria has set out to leverage her experience in software development and customer service to nurture OPAL-RT’s employee-first culture—and installing HR and IT governance at the VP-level sends a very clear message about what makes OPAL-RT strongest in our fields of concentration: our people, without a doubt.”
