STC “Renewable and Sustainable Development of Electrical Energy Systems”
This Short Term Course (STC) is mainly designed for research
scholar and faculty members of the respective engineering
department. This STC will help the students to choose their
research area those who are working in the field of modern
power systems. Further, this course also helps for the UG and
PG students to get interaction with renowned academicians and
industry experts.

What’s happening at NIT Uttarakhand STC ?
Demo : Real Time simulation of a small scaled microgrid with a microgrid controller
Demonstrating 600 node distribution network connected with a microgrid. The microgrid consist of renewable energies and battery storage system. It is designed in such a way that the load demand is met by renewable sources. Any excess energy would be feedback to the grid . The microgrid can also operate is islanded mode.
